Here are the requirements for canine blood donors:

• Good temperament (able to sit/lay calmly for 10-15 minutes)
• Up to date with vaccinations
• Healthy and on heartworm prevention
• Weighs over 25kg and is between 1-6 years old
• Has never received a blood transfusion
• Located within a 30-minute radius of our clinic
• Reliable contact for regular donations/emergencies
• Not on current medications
